Grandmother’s Buttermilk Cornbread




This is my grandmother's cornbread recipe and it's the best. This bread is divine: sweet and soft  !

* Ingredients:

☞ 1/2 cup butter
☞ 2/3 cup white sugar
☞ 2 eggs
☞ 1 cup buttermilk
☞ 1/2 small spoon baking soda
☞ 1 cup cornmeal
☞ 1 cup  flour
☞ 1/2 small spoon salt

* Preparation : 

1 - Preheat oven to 375 degrees . Grease an pan.
2 - In large skillet melt butter . Remove  and add in sugar . fast add eggs and beat until well mixed . Blend buttermilk with baking soda and stir to mixture in pan . Row in cornmeal/flour/ /salt until well blended . 
3 - Pour batter into the prepared pan . Bake in the preheated oven for  41 min .
