5 Minutes Caramels




The recipe couldn't be easier than this !

☞ 1 cup unsalted butter
☞ 2 1/4 cups brown sugar
☞ 1 cup of corn syrup
☞ 1 can of sweetened condensed milk of 300 ml
☞ 2 tbsp. whipping cream
☞ 1/2 tsp. vanilla
☞ 1 C. sea salt (optional)

* Method:

- Line a 21 cm square baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a pot , melt the butter and  Add the brown sugar and corn syrup. Mix well.
- Add the condensed milk and the cream while whisking.
Cook over low-medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 120 ° C on a candy thermometer.
-  Also off the heat, stir in the vanilla. Pour the preparation into the plate  and, if you want , sprinkle with fleur de sel.
- Allow to set totally  in the refrigerator. Unmould, then cut into 37 squares.
