VANILLA BUTTERMILK POUND CAKE




You'll be amazed at how simple you can make this moist and incredibly rich cake, topped with buttermilk icing. YUMMYYYY IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP AT ONE SLICE!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups softened butter + 2 tbsp for the pan.
- 1 cup granulated sugar.
- 1 cup buttermilk.
- 3 eggs.
- 3 cups all-purpose flour + 1 tbsp for the pan
- 2 tsp baking powder.
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract.
- A pinch of salt.
To Make The Cream Cheese Glaze You'll Need:
- 1 PKG cream cheese.
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar.
- 2 tsp vanilla extract.
- 4 tbsp evaporated milk.
HOW TO MAKE IT??
STEP I: Preheat your oven to 350℉.
STEP-II: Using a stand mixer, mix butter and sugar until creamy and light.
STEP III: Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract, mix on low for 6 minutes.
STEP IV: In a bowl, whisk dry ingredients and set aside.
STEP V: Start slowly pouring dry ingredients in the bowl of the stand mixer and mix for 6 to 7 more minutes.
STEP VI: Butter and flour a wolf pan, then pour the batter into the pan and bake for 1 hour.
STEP VII: Meanwhile, mix vanilla, evaporated milk, and cream cheese. And slowly add powdered milk, mix continuously until the mixture is creamy.
STEP VIII: Remove the cake from the oven, and carefully spread the Glaze over the cake, and let it cool for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
