Mom’s famous cream puffs


Who said cream puffs are hard to make? Hurry and discover this recipe that can be prepared in a jiffy, and which contains very simple ingredients! An impossible-to-miss dessert that will impress family and guests!

* Ingredients:

* For the dough:
° 3/4 cup of water
° 1/3 cup of butter
° 1 pinch of salt
° 1/2 cup flour
° 3 eggs
*For garnish:
° 1 1/2 cups 35% whipping cream
° 1/4 cup of icing sugar

* Preparation

Preheat the oven to 205 ° C.
In a pot, adduce  water to a boil with  butter & salt.
Stir in the flour and heat over low heat, stirring until a dough forms. Whisk vigorously until the dough comes off the sides of the pan.
Remove from the heat and stir in the eggs one at a time, stirring vigorously until a smooth consistency is achieved.
Transfer the dough into a pastry bag fitted with a medium-sized plain nozzle.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form 16 rosettes of dough, about 3 cm (about 1 1/4 inch) in diameter, taking care to space them 5 cm - 2 inches apart (they will double in volume by stinging).
Bake for 10 minutes, until the pastry rosettes have doubled in size.
Minimize oven temperature  180 ° C . expand cooking for 11 to 16 min .
Turn off oven and let the cabbage cool for 10 to 15 minutes in the oven with the door ajar. Take from  oven and allow cooled on a rack.
Cut off  top of  cabbage.
Using an electric mixer, whip the cream on medium speed in a bowl until soft peaks form. Stir in the icing sugar and whisk on high speed until stiff peaks form.
Transfer the whipped cream to a pastry bag fitted with a fluted nozzle. Garnish the puffs with whipped cream. Close the cabbages.
