PUNCH BOWL CAKE RECIPE BY PAULA DEEN






Punch bowl cake is a simple, tasty Southern dessert that's easy to cook but spectacular enough. For this Traditional Punch Bowl Cake recipe, chunks of a baked pound cake with a delicious vanilla pudding base.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 pints strawberries.
- 2 PKG instant vanilla pudding mix.
- 1 PKG yellow cake mix.
- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained.
- 1 container Cool Whip.
- 6 medium sliced bananas.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1- Prepare the cake according to directions in two medium circular pans.
Step 2- At the bottom of a punch bowl, placed one layer of cake. And prepare the pudding mix according to the instructions on the box.
Step 3- Then add half the pudding, half the cool whip, half the pineapple, three sliced bananas,  and half the strawberries. In a punch bowl, add another layer of pudding, remaining pineapple, strawberries, and sliced bananas.
Step 4- Spread the strawberry juice and top with Cool Whip on top.
