Southern fried chicken






When it comes to chicken recipes, it's hard to deny that there is one dish in particular that is more popular than the rest and whose crunchy texture overshadows even the most predominant food. This dish is of course, fried chicken.

* Ingredients:

° 1 Chicken cut into 8 pieces
° 2 Eggs
° 150g Flour
° 20 cl Milk
° 0.5 tbsp. garlic powder
° Frying oil
° Salt
° Pepper

* Directions:

Beat the eggs with a fork with the milk. Lay  flour to a plastic bag. Add the garlic, 1/2 tsp. of ground pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Turn the chicken pieces in the eggs, seal them in the bag, shake in all directions to coat the chicken well with flour.
Heat 2 cm of oil in a large sauté pan. Fry the chicken pieces for 20 minutes over medium heat, turning them halfway through cooking. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with sweet corn.
