Strawberry Bomb Cake

Great for wowing and delighting your guests


* Ingredients:


° 400 g of prepared strawberries

° 100 g of sugar + 50 g

° 400 g of cottage cheese

° 100 g of flour

° 4 eggs and 2 whites

° 300 g of strawberry jam

° 2 sachets of agar agar


* Preparation:



Preheat the oven to 200 ° C


Preparation of the roll cake:

Whisk the yolks of 4 eggs with 100 g of sugar until the mixture is foamy. Add the 4 whisked egg whites and the flour little by little. Spread on a sheet of baking paper and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.


When removing from the oven, turn the cake over on a clean cloth and immediately roll it up crosswise.


 Preparation of the foam:

Mix 200 g of strawberries with 50 g of sugar and the agar-agar. Adduce to a boil and cooking about 2 min, stirring. Mix the fromage blanc with the 2 egg whites, beaten until stiff. Stir in the warm strawberry coulis and the remaining strawberries cut into pieces.


Unroll the cake and spread it with the strawberry jam. Wrap the cookie in cling film and refrigerate it for 1 hour.


Cut the rolled cake into slices and place them against the sides of a large salad bowl (around 20 cm in diameter) covered with cling film. Fill with strawberry mousse and cover with cling film. Place a small plate on it and refrigerate for 5 hours.


Unmold the cake ... and enjoy.
