EASY-MADE ITALIAN MEATLOAF

 



Basically, this Italian meatloaf is one big giant meatball, or at least that's what I tell my children to eat. But, seriously, it's similar to meatballs, just that they have a lot more flavor and are easier to make. With my Big Italian Salad, a firm family favorite, and Parmesan Smashed Potatoes, I like to serve it, but with pasta, it's delicious too.

INGREDIENTS :

*450g or 1lb. Of Ground Beef.

* 250g or 1/2lb. Ground Mild Italian Sausage. 

* 2 slices white bread{crumbled}.

* An onion, finely chopped. 

* 1 CUP Of shredded mozzarella cheese+3/4 cup for topping.

* 1 Cup Of marinara sauce+3/4 Cup more for topping.

* 3/4 Cup Of "Italian Bread Crumbs".

* 1/2 Cup Of {chopped} bell pepper, you can use any color you want. 

* 1/4 Cup Of parmesan cheese.

* 1 egg{beaten}.

* 1 {minced} clove garlic.

* 1 TBSP.Of milk.

* 1 TSP.Of olive oil.

* 1 TSP.Of Worcestershire sauce.

* 1/2 TSP.Of oregano.

* 1/2 TSP.Of basil.

* 1/2 TSP.Of parsley.

INSTRUCTIONS:

*Step 1_Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a small skillet and saut√© the onion and bell pepper for 3-4 minutes, then remove from the heat. 

*Step 2_In a wide bowl, add the beef, onion and peppers, and all the remaining 3/4 C reserved ingredients. Cheese for mozzarella topping. 

*Step 3_Now, dive in with the best resources that God has given you, and your hands, and combine everything that's very good. 

*Step 4_Place and mold the mixture in a baking dish of your choosing until it has all come together. 

Put in the oven at 400 degrees for 50 minutes. 

*Step 5_Remove and top with the remaining cheese from the oven and sprinkle over the top with a little dry basil. 

*Step 6_For 10 more minutes, return to the oven. Make sure that the meat is not pink until serving, depending on the thickness of your loaf, the baking time will vary.
