The classic British American fried potato
dish - any shape - that usually accompanies breakfast. In other words, instead
of working on a pile of chopped potatoes, we turned it into a large, delicious
fried pie with just 4 ingredients (recipes, food)
* Ingredients (5 servings):
° 1 kg of potatoes have a starchy texture
° 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
° black pepper
° 4 tablespoons of olive oil
* Preparation:
Peel the potatoes and grate them in a large
bowl filled with water so that they do not turn brown.
Transfer the potatoes to a colander and
rinse well until the water is clear to remove the starch that prevents the
potatoes from turning brown and brittle. By hand, squeeze a bunch of potatoes
at a time and transfer them to a dry bowl.
3. Add a tablespoon of olive oil, season
with salt and black pepper and mix.
4. In a frying pan with a diameter of 22 cm
with a non-stick layer, heat two tablespoons of olive oil over a medium-high
heat. Place the potato mixture in the skillet and using a spoon or the back of
a spoon, spread the top until the mixture reaches almost a height. 1.5 cm.
Cook for 5-8 minutes, until potatoes are
golden and crunchy (lift the tip with a spoon to check the bottom).
6. Carefully move the tray contents onto a
large plate, cover the plate with the skillet and roll it quickly. Pour the
rest of the oil around the edge of the pan and cook for another 4-6 minutes
