Spanish cheesecake (subabella) is a type of
pastry fried in the areas of Spanish heritage, and the recipe was developed to
blend with flavors and other foods, and in this recipe was prepared in the oven
with cream cheese filling that was placed between two layers of dough, and
sprinkled with a layer of sugar and cinnamon then Bake it, cool it, and cut it into
cheesecake squares.
* Ingredients:
° 1 ½ cup of sugar
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° ½ cup melted butter
° Kilo of cream cheese
° ¼ kilo of croissant dough
° 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
* How to prepare :
We get a large slice of dough, and spread
half of it in a ceramic dish (equipped with parchment paper on the bottom and
sides measuring 9-13 inches)
Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then
transfer it with 1 cup of sugar to a food mixer until mixed on medium speed
Add vanilla to the cheese mixture, stir a
little, then spread the cheese on the dough in the plate, and put the remaining
dough slice on top, and press it very gently
Pour the melted butter over the entire area
of the plate, and in a separate bowl add the remaining sugar and cinnamon and
sprinkle it on the top of the plate.
We bake the dish in the oven for 30 minutes
at a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit, then take it out a little to rest,
then transfer it to the refrigerator to cool completely, and it is ready for
cutting and serving as squares
