In addition to the use of baking soda in
the pastry industry, and its great benefit in making the dough work, there are
several uses that you may not know of baking soda, including health and home,
and the uses of baking soda:
1
You should know that chemical products for
hair such as shampoos and creams build up in your hair, making it sticky and
weak. Here comes one of the uses of baking soda: Sprinkle a small amount of
baking soda into your shampoo bottle.
You will find it brighter and more fluid.
2- Substitute for shampoo when needed
On hot summer days when your hair is
greasy, you need to look elegant in a short time without the need to wash it
with shampoo several times, so spray a little baking soda on the roots of your
hair, rub it, and then comb it with a brush.
3- Clean the hairbrush
Have you thought about taking a closer look
at your hairbrush? If you do, you will be amazed at what you see. Instead of
throwing it in the trash, clean it up by soaking it in a tub of warm water with
one teaspoon of baking soda for 20 minutes. Rinse it, then let it dry on a
towel before use.
4- Peel off face mask
There is a safe and easy-to-use alternative
to chemical face peeling products that no one knows of their harmful side
effects: Make your own peeling mask at home, just scrub your face with baking
soda. 3 tsps baking soda with 1 tsp water. Apply mask to your face with a
gentle circular motion, and wash it off with warm water.
5- An exfoliating scrub as well
If you allow dry dead cells to build up on
your skin, it will look dull and pale. Keep skin cells renewed and rejuvenated
by exfoliating once a week . Make your own by baking soda using the same method
for your face scrub: 1 to 3 tablespoons of baking soda.
6- Deodorant
If you have sensitive skin, one of the most
important uses of baking soda is as a substitute for deodorant. Baking soda
balances acids and bases, so it eliminates odors. Plus, it won't leave a mark
on your clothes like many antiperspirants do.
7- Foot care
You can make a better home pedicure by
putting your feet in a solution of three tablespoons of baking soda to one
tablespoon of warm water. Leave your feet in the solution for 10 minutes, then
apply a moisturizing cream to the legs and feet. Wrap them in a warm towel, and
leave them for 5-10 minutes. Then you will have smoother legs and feet.
