Easy Loaded Potato Bites

 


This is a tried and true recipe !! The tiny little warm, fluffy baked potato is great for game day, a BBQ, the perfect party appetizers, weeknight meal or a fun dinner addition! Plus, it is so much fun to serve with all the fixin's.


TO MAKE THIS RECIPE YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS :

 

- 2 cups of Mashed potatoes 

- 2 cups of Flour

- 1 cup of Water

- 2 tspn of Yeast 

- 1 tspn of Cinnamon

- 3 tbsp of Sugar

- 8 cups of Vegetable oil for frying


#FOR THE SYRUP :


- 2 cups of Sugar 

- 1 cup of Water

- Half a grain of Lemon juice 

- 1 tbsp of Rose water

- 1 tbsp of Blossom water


PREPARATION : 


1. Start by dissolving the yeast with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar in a quarter cup of water.


2. And please leave the mixture for about 5 minutes.


3. Then pick a large bowl and mix in the mashed potato, flour, water, yeast mixture, cinnamon and sugar together.


4. Make sure to knead the ingredients with your hands until they stick.


5. Once done, you should cover the container with a plastic bag, then leave the dough aside until it ferments, about 1 hour.


6. Over a strong heat, heat the oil in a saucepan.


7. You may want to moisten one hand with a little water then take an amount of the dough. Afterwards, squeeze the dough with the palm of your hand, then take the excess amount with the other hand using a spoon.


8. Immediately apply the Luqaimat balls with oil with caution.


9.  Next, please fry the floats until golden.


10. To prepare the syrup, make sure to dissolve the sugar in water in a saucepan over a stove, then add the lemon juice.


11. Okay now, you can stir the ingredients well and let the syrup boil and thicken for about 10 minutes.


12. Always remember to add rose water and blossom water and boil the ingredients for 3 minutes more.


13. Finally, take the syrup off the heat, let it cool down, then pour it on the buoys and feet.
