RETRO JELLO STRAWBERRY PIE

 



I like no-bake desserts, and there is no exception to this one. You'll love how simple this pie is and particularly how luscious it is. Prepare one and eat it soon!

This recipe comes from my mother, and when made with peaches or blueberries, it is just as refreshing. 


INGREDIENTS:

• 3 TBSP.Of cornstarch. 

• 2 CUPS.Of sliced strawberries. 

• 1+1/2 CUPS.Of water. 

• 1 CUP.Of sugar. 

• A Container.Of -3-oz Of strawberry Jello. 

• A pre-baked 10″ pie shell. 


DIRECTIONS:


• Step 1- With the sliced strawberries, line the bottom of the pie shell. 


• Step 2- In a small saucepan, mix the cornstarch, sugar, and water together. 


• Step 3- Take to a boil and cook until thickened, stirring continuously. 


• Step 4- Add the box of strawberry Jello and blend until the liquid has melted. 


• Step 5- Pour the strawberries over and refrigerate until set. 

• Step 6- Serve with ice cream/whipped cream.
