Yummm...This easy Strawberry Poke Cake is one of the best dessert recipes !! I made this light and refreshing and packed with fresh strawberry flavor for my son's birthday and he loooved it !! !


- White cake: 1 package

- Fozen sweetened strawberries: 1 package (sliced and thawed)

- Strawberry gelatin: 2 packages 

- Frozen whipped topping: 1 

- Water: 1 1/4 cup

- Vegetable oil: 1/4 cup

- Eggs: 2 (large)

- Fresh strawberries: 1 cup


1. In a large bowl on low speed, beat together the cake mix with water, eggs, and oil, then beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes.

2. And please pour the batter into two greased round baking pans, and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes.

3. Make sure to let it cool for about 10 minutes, then remove from pans.

4. Afterwards, return layers, top side up, and use a fork to pierce cakes.

5. You'll want to drain juice from strawberries, add water to measure 2 cups, then bring to a boil.

6. At this point, you should stir in strawberry gelatin, let it cool for about 15 minutes. Then you may want to spoon over each cake layer, and place the cakes in the freezer for 1 hour.

7. Once done, put the first cake onto a serving platter, layer sliced strawberries, then top with 1 cup of whipped topping.

8. Alright now, place second cake layer over whipped topping, and frost with remaining topping.

9. Finally, chill your strawberry poke cake for at least 50 minutes, making sure you follow only the instructions.
