Stuffed Bacon and Cheese Biscuits

 


 


A very amazing cookie, a blending apples, bacon also cheese ... Hmm.

 

* Ingredients :

 

° 2 cups of flour

° 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon of yeast

° 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar

° 3/4 tsp. salt

° 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

° 6 tbsp unsalted butter, very cold

° 1/4 cup fresh rosemary, chopped

° 1 apple, peeled and chopped (small dice)

° 1/2 cup grated white cheddar cheese

° 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

° 1 cup + 4 tablespoons 35% cream, Divided

 

* Preparation :

 

1-Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

 

2-In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and black pepper.

 

3-Using a cheese grater, add the butter to the dry ingredients

 

4-Use two forks to work the butter.

 

5-Add the rosemary, chopped apple, grated cheese, crumbled bacon and 1 cup + 3 tablespoons of cream.

 

6-Flatten the dough using a rolling pin and cut 1 inch cookies using a glass.

 

7-Place the cookies on the baking sheet and brush with the remaining cream.

 

8-Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
