These Parmesan Pork Chops are so good, so
chewy and tender and the flavors were amazing! I used to make them for my
husband and over there easy and tasty These are the best pork chops I have
eaten in a long time.
* Ingredients:
° 6-9 pork chops (not too thick, you can
use boneless pork loin)
° 2 eggs
° 4 tablespoons of water
° 2 cups of flour
° 1 teaspoon salt
° 1 teaspoon black pepper
° 1 teaspoon garlic powder
° Canola or vegetable oil for frying chops
+ icing
° 1 1/2 cup honey
° 1/2 cup brown sugar (I added this)
° 1/2 tsp ginger
° pinch of cayenne pepper (to taste)
° 1/2 cup soy sauce
° 1 tsp chopped garlic
° 2 tsp butter
* Instructions:
Whisk the eggs and 4 tbsp. sprinkle
together in a shallow dish.
Combine the flour, salt, pepper and garlic
powder in another shallow dish.
Dip the chops in the flour, then in the
egg.
Then again in the flour mixture. This is
what puts the extra crispy coating on the chops. Make sure you put a lot of
flour in this last layer, then shake them up a bit and place them in a saucepan
with about half an inch of oil. Make sure the oil is hot, but not too hot,
otherwise the chops will cook too quickly. You have to get it good and hot and
then turn to the middle.
Cooking about 6 min per side. Trying not to
turning more than twice .
Removing from pan into a 9 "x13"
baking dish.
Brown the garlic a little in the butter.
Add honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, cayenne
pepper and ginger. Adduce to a boil & minimize to low and stew for 5 min .
Watch it carefully as it will foam & could overflow.
Pour half icing on pork chops. Turning them
on & pour the other 1/2 on the other side. Placing uncovered in a preheat
350 degree oven about about 21-26 min . This sets frosting and finishes them
off to be sure they're cooked through.
