My really simple recipe for homemade
Danish, which I garnish with cream cheese.
* Ingredients:
++ Servings: 10
° 2 tubes
Pillsbury Croissant Dough
° 2 bricks
cream cheese, diced
° 3/4 cup sugar
° 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
° 1 Cup tsp vanilla extract
° 2 tbsp sour cream
° 1 cup icing sugar
° 1 C. milk
° 1 C. butter, softened
* Preparation steps:
Preheat the oven to 350 ° F (175 ° C).
Lightly grease a 13x9 inch baking dish.
Place the dough from a rolling pin in the
bottom of the dish, in a single large sheet of dough.
In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with the
sugar, lemon juice, vanilla and sour cream. Spread over the dough. Cover with
the dough from the second roll and seal the edges.
Bake for 20-30 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk the icing sugar with
the milk and soft butter. Using decorate danish, cooled. Cutting to pieces
& serving .
