If you are suffering from knee pain or know someone who is, you’ll have to try this technique


Knee pain can be crippling. Fortunately, this knee stretch can open up the range of motion and relieve the debilitating pain.


The technique is courtesy of Jill Miller, creator of Yoga Tune Up and author of The Roll Model. Stretching is one of our favorites because it can be performed by anyone anywhere. The only equipment you need is a single tea towel.

Start by folding the tea towel and place it behind the knee, high in the joint. Place the heel on the edge of a chair, sofa, or block. Gently tighten the knee by contracting the calf muscles and hamstrings. Repeat on the other side.


If your knee doesn't hurt, it's likely that you have a friend or family member who has it.
