Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.


Grease the two molds of bread with butter and flour, and you can put parchment paper.



Beat the butter and two cups of sugar in the electric whisk for 5 minutes until light, and add eggs on medium speed with lemon zest.



Sift the flour, baking powder, and yeast into a bowl. In another bowl, mix a quarter cup of lemon juice, curd, and vanilla.



Add the flour and curd mixture alternately to the mixture, divide the mixture between the molds, and bake in the oven for 45 minutes to 60 minutes until the knife comes out clean from the cake.



Mix half a cup of sugar with half a cup of lemon juice in a small bowl over low heat until the sugar dissolves.



Leave the cakes for 10 minutes after they are done until they cool down, then remove them from the molds and put them on a shelf above a tray, then pour the syrup over it and leave it to cool completely.



Mix confectioners' sugar with three and a half tablespoons of lemon juice in a bowl, mix with a wire whisk until smooth, then pour it over the cakes.
