The better Macaroni and Cheese



Classic homemade mac and cheese made with bite-size pasta, cheddar cheese and a simple creamy sauce, all baked to perfection in the oven. This recipe includes tips, tricks and photos for making a PERFECT oven-baked mac and cheese.


This macaroni and cheese recipe has many similarities to another of my favorites; A baked Ziti. It's creamy yet dreamlike comfort food that is baked to perfection with cheese and bubbles.




° 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni pasta

° 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

° 1 cup of grated colby cheese

° 3 tablespoons of butter

° 2 and 3/4 cup half and half

° A 15 oz can of Campbell's condensed cheddar cheese soup

° 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

° 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika




1. To start, toss half and half with cheddar cheese soup and toss until smooth and smooth.

2. Then sprinkle with paprika and black pepper and mix.

3. Pour the macaroni and cheese and elbow into the slow cooker, half of the grated cheddar and colby, the chopped butter and half and half of the cheddar soup mixture.

4. Mix until well incorporated.

5. Use the rest of the grated cheese to complete.

6. Put the lid on top of the slow cooker, then set the slow cooker to low heat.

7. Cooking for 3 hours.
