Why wouldn't you make your own natural,
organic shampoo? Here are 5 easy recipes to cook up in your kitchen or
bathroom.
A natural shampoo in no time. For this
first natural shampoo recipe, you won't need almost anything. Baking soda and
apple cider vinegar are enough to leave your hair looking shiny. First wet your
hair and then pour a tablespoon of baking soda from roots to ends. Massage in
until the baking soda has penetrated and leaves a "slippery"
impression. You can then rinse with the apple cider vinegar, the strong smell
of which will quickly disappear. Warning: this natural, sulfate-free shampoo
requires some application. Do not rinse your hair until the baking soda is well
saturated, otherwise it will create a strong chemical reaction !
A natural shampoo based on coconut milk.
Curly hair has its natural beauty trick: coconut milk. Its pH is perfect for
hydrating and caring for the scalp. For a quick shampoo / care, repeat the
previous recipe. Instead of rinsing with apple cider vinegar, simply rinse with
coconut milk. For a more elaborate (and more nutritious) recipe, mix 1 quart of
coconut milk, 1 third of liquid Castile soap, 1 teaspoon of olive (or sweet
almond) oil, 15 drops of oil essential (lavender for example). Mix everything
together and apply to your wet hair. Leave on for a few minutes, then rinse .
3 / A natural shampoo with aloe vera. This
medicinal plant known for its moisturizing properties is an excellent component
for a natural and effective shampoo. If you decide to abandon chemical shampoos
in favor of natural ones, he will be an ally in this transition. It is indeed
ideal for maintaining healthy hair. Start by mixing 1 quart of aloe vera gel
and 2 tablespoons of honey with a whisk. The final texture should be completely
smooth. Apply to damp hair then leave on for a few minutes. Rinse off with
lukewarm water. Your hair is shiny and hydrated and enjoys all the benefits of
a sulfate-free and organic shampoo .
