I never fail to get rave reviews whenever I serve this at a gathering.


Shredded 8 ounces of old cheddar—

8 ounces of shredded smoked Gouda cheese

Half a cup of mayonnaise

Cream cheese, 8 ounces, room temperature

Rubbed red peppers, 8 ounces, coarsely chopped

half a teaspoon of onion powder


0.5 teaspoons of dried mustard

Pepper flakes (to flavor)

Two teaspoons of dried parsley, if desired in addition

Instructions:

 

Add the shredded cheeses to a large bowl and mix well.

Blend in the cream cheese and mayonnaise until combined.

Roast the red peppers and add them.


Finish with a sprinkle of cayenne pepper, dry mustard, and onion powder. Be sure to mix well. Blend in some dry parsley for a more nuanced flavor.

Put it in the fridge for at least an hour, preferably overnight, for the flavors to meld.

Serve after another vigorous stirring. Toss in some parsley or red peppers for garnish, if you want.
